Programs
Craft shop
Submitted by szerkeszto on 2010, February 7 - 14:26To serve both the community and visitors we would like to open a craft shop. The members of the community can place their products there and trade for other people's products. After this, we should organize expositions with selected products, and to participate at other expositions, as community.
Ecological efforts
Submitted by szerkeszto on 2010, February 7 - 14:21Within the framework of the ecological village, the emphasis is placed on the protection of nature and cooperation. We want to facilitate the use of nature friendly products and search for eco-solutions. For this reason we seek to give preference to solar power usage, biological toilets, selective garbage collecting and recycling, thus protecting the environment.
Community decision-making
Submitted by szerkeszto on 2010, February 7 - 14:19The programs are organised by volunteers, who are also the facilitators. The issues which influence the community are discussed during regular meetings and decisions are taken in consensus (in fully agreement). An association is organised to represent the various circles of interests and thus equal opportunities are provided for all to influence the programmes with their own ideas and to collaborate fully.
Minibus service
Submitted by szerkeszto on 2010, February 7 - 14:17To provide a regular minibus service among the local villages and the neighbouring towns. The bus will run every hour from Sepsiszentgyörgy (Sfântu Gheorghe) through Kézdivásárhely (Târgu Secuiesc) and Kászon to Csíkszereda (Miercurea Ciuc), thereby enabling the inhabitants of the towns to join the programmes and facilitating villager's access to the cities.
Catering
Submitted by szerkeszto on 2010, February 7 - 14:14Visitors are received in Kászon with hospitality. Besides the rustic atmosphere of the accommodation and the traditional food, there is an opportunity to get acquainted with traditional knowledge and experience. Visitors can also "pay" for the accommodation with their own work so to taste also the beauty and the hardship of local life and so enjoy even more the time spent in the area.
Mediatech and library
Submitted by szerkeszto on 2010, February 7 - 14:13We are collecting materials on ecology, folk traditions and organic culture. The lectures and films can be viewed in a programmed way. This could be completed with a community "book-circle" so books can be borrowed within the community.

There are assisted forest-paths and designated mountain routes to guide expeditions in the surrounding mountains.
Information System
Submitted by szerkeszto on 2010, February 7 - 14:07To strengthen the unity of the five villages and to help tourists to find their way, we aim to develop a single information system to indicate the important sites, walking paths, and hiking trails. Placing guide posts, and information boards are essential to help people to become familiar with the place and also to have access to the tourist paths in the Csík, Nemere and Csomád-Bálványos Mountains.
Folk Architecture
Submitted by szerkeszto on 2010, February 7 - 13:57We focus on the documentation and design needed to preserve the traditional appearance of the village. We are seeking to organise a construction team who, using traditional technologies and natural materials, will build healthy houses and renovates old buildings. In this context, there is an opportunity for those who want to learn building-related trades (e.g. carpentry, masonry), and apprenticeship in these trades.
